What is NXNE?

North by Northeast (NXNE) is going back to its roots as a discovery music Festival focusing on promoting emerging musicians and supporting Toronto’s live music scene — especially its amazing clubs – and, connecting audiences with new acts they need to hear. We will present showcase gigs at Toronto’s best live music venues from June 14 – 19, 2022.

Over 200,000 attend the Festival every June in Toronto. The Festival presents top curated, emerging artists from around the world in ideal showcase settings. The Festival also features top international acts in intimate gigs or free shows. In addtion, NXNE features: gaming, panels, comedy and much more over six hot days every summer.
