Downtown NYC and all of lower manhattan does not have residential permit parking. This means that all unmetered street parking is FREE, but subject to many restrictions and yield a high potential for tickets. Due to narrow streets, most of lower manhattan does not offer street parking at anytime.

I appreciated that NYP Lower Manhattan has the least expensive private room rate for NYC hospitals. I barely used anything I had packed for my stay because the hospital provided almost everything I needed (bring a long phone charger and some snacks!)

Side note: please stop referring patients to VILLAGECARE (214 W HOUSTON ST). Care is so bad there that most patients end up having to be rushed back to the hospital due to negligence from the nurses working there.
