Is Dragon Ball Z Kai better than Dragon Ball Z?
An improved script, better voice acting, the removal of filler & stretched-out scenes, and better visuals all combine to make Dragon Ball Kai feel more professional and enthralling to watch, as opposed to the original version.
Who killed kid boo?
Unlike the original manga/anime, Majin Buu skips Super Buu and goes straight into Kid Buu. Like in the original manga/anime, Kid Buu is killed by a Spirit Bomb.

Why does Kai end with cell?
By ending at the Cell saga, it ends in the place where the original author Akira Toriyama wanted it to. In doing so, you miss the two-three seasons that came afterward. The are also other small differences between the two, including different music in some cases, and new scenes added/redone in Kai.

Cell: Killed by Gohan. Gohan and Cell entered a beam struggle with the Father-Son Kamehameha and Solar Kamehameha respectively, and Cell was about to win when Vegeta hit him with an energy ball, allowing Gohan to overpower Cell, completely destroying him.
How is Majin Buu still alive?
Pure Buu was defeated by Goku using a Spirit Bomb powered by every last ounce of power the people of Earth could give him without dying, combined with a little extra push from Goku as a Super Saiyan. Pure Buu was eventually reincarnated as the human Uub.
Is Z better than Kai?
Dragon Ball Z will always have the upper hand when it comes to nostalgia, offering a more relatable (yet warped) westernized version of the legendary Japanese show. On the other hand, Kai gets to the point faster, it keeps the original script, and the quality is slightly better.
