It is important that our prospective international students understand that Bluegrass Community and Technical College does not have designated housing for their students. However, BCTC students are permitted to apply for housing on the neighboring campus of the University of Kentucky.

The BCTCblue+ program allows currently enrolled BCTC students the opportunity to take classes at UK, paying our tuition rate. BCTC students can take up to 12 credits, or 4 classes (whichever comes first).
What is the schedule for taking classes at BCTC?
There is not a set schedule for taking classes; it depends on the UK program and any needed prerequisites, as the classes at UK cannot be offered at BCTC. Students accepted into the program must meet with the UK program advisor each semester to discuss their individual plan (instructions will be sent after being admitted).
