Can you swim in Wahweap Bay?
The most populated swim area in the downlake region is Lone Rock Beach across the Utah line. 2 is the beach in Wahweap Bay just south of the Stateline launch ramp. The beach is served by a parking lot and a paved walk that takes the hiker/swimmer about halfway to the water.
What does the word Wahweap mean?

Is the Wahweap auxiliary ramp open?

Personnel are on site to assist launching on this narrow legacy ramp. 4WD vehicles are recommended for the low water launching conditions, as 2WD drive vehicles are experiencing difficulty on current gravel surfaces.

Wahweap Window, shown below, is a natural arch located in Wahweap Bay. It is found between Ice Cream Canyon and Castle Rock across the bay from Stateline Launch Ramp. Ice Cream Canyon: There are some campsites up Ice Cream Canyon. At lower lake levels the lake will not enter the canyon.
