Sony has confirmed you won’t be able to buy titles, but digital downloads will still be possible for titles you already own. Its just the store that is closing. In that specific FAQ, it did not mention anything about trophy syncs. I contacted PlayStation support and they confirmed trophy sync will still be possible.
