Terms & Conditions



These terms and conditions apply to the sale of all products that we sell on our site. By ordering any products on this site you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions so please read carefully. If you refuse to accept them then you should not order any products from this site. Please print a copy for future reference.

*Prices online are as listed and may differ to in store pricing during SALE. SALE prices in store will only be available in store and CAN NOT be price matched with online product.




Products available for purchase online are subject to availability. As necessary we reserve the right to limit the quantity of products we supply, supply only part of an order or to divide orders. We also reserve the right to alter the terms or duration of any special offers or sale promotion. We will inform you if we are unable to fulfill your order.

Please note the following product availability descriptions:


Products that are currently in stock and available for order now


Products that will be available in the future as per the date on the description but can be booked in advance. They are often a limited product, and although we often encourage you to secure them, we also ask that you commit and are certain of your pre order. We do not take cancellations nor issue refunds on pre orders.


When item does not show specific sizes or only a few sizes, then the sizes not shown are unavailable for ordering and might not be reproduced in the future. You can check our PRE-ORDER page to book future stock, if and when available, or email our customer service here.

**In the case of inaccurate availability messages and the item being out of stock, you will be notified and your order cancelled, or a credit note awarded to you should you so choose.




Prices displayed on the site are stated in AUD dollars and include shipping, GST and any other applicable Australian taxes. We accept the following forms of payment:

Orders are processed the following business day, Monday to Friday, excluding holidays. Orders placed on weekends and holidays will be processed the next business day subject to availability.

If you have ordered an item that is not available or that is delayed, we will notify you via email or telephone. You will receive a shipment confirmation email with the shipping tracking number.

For any and all RETURNS, REFUNDS, CREDIT NOTES or EXCHANGES, please take care to follow the below requirements:

- We only offer CREDIT NOTES or EXCHANGES unless faulty

- Return postage will only be reimbursed if the item is faulty or there is an error on our behalf. Maximum amount for postage reimbursement is AUD $25.00.

- Please fill out our RETURNS form which , is included in your   package and post back with your return



CREDIT NOTES are awarded after the return item has been received by shakuhachi, and is valid for a period of 6 months after issue date. Please keep any and all email references regarding credit notes.

RETURNS Unsatisfactory merchandise in sellable condition with all original tags attached may be exchanged or returned for a CREDIT NOTE only.

*SWIMWEAR, SHOES and ACCESSORIES can not be RETURNED unless there is a production fault

REFUNDS Any and all faulty items (i.e. with unintentional holes, running dye, torn hem, etc.) bought online through our site and are not the result of customer mistreatment are refundable. Please send us an email with proof of purchase.



In the event that item does not meet customer size requirement it may be returned and exchanged with the same item but in a different size.

If item does not have the exchangeable size in stock then a credit note will be issued.

Please keep proof of transaction (i.e. invoice, etc.) and notify our customer service within 30 days of receiving item. Tags must be intact.

No reimbursement on postage costs for returned items unless the item is faulty.

**Refunds on faulty items bought through sites or stores other than Shakuhachi are the sole responsibility of the company selling the item and are not the responsibility of Shakuhachi.  




Free shipping for orders over AUD $250.00. There is a flat rate of $14.25 for domestic orders under $250.00. 

Orders within Australia received are delivered by Express Post (Australia Post) and will be dispatched within 3-5 business days* (*subject to availability and delivery schedules from Australia Post). 

We offer 2-3 days deliveries within the Sydney Metropolitan Area placed before 12.00 (business hours only).

Pre orders are made to order and full payment is required at time of purchase. You will receive a dispatch notification as soon as they are produced. The estimated delivery date can be found on the product page.

Please be sure to double check your day time address and contact details before confirming your order. Australian orders DO NOT require signature at time of delivery. Shakuhachi does not take responsibility for missing parcels delivered to the correct delivery address.

All orders are well packaged and you will receive a tracking number and details via email once dispatched.

* Australian capital, metropolitan and major regional areas apply. Delivery can take up to seven business days for remote districts and post codes of 6005 and above (East Coast Operations). Due peak periods delivery may be delayed and our customer care will keep you up to date. 

We do not operate on Public Holidays or outside of business hours. 


Orders received by  12pm  are delivered by Australia Post Postal Service and will arrive within 7-30 business days (depending on customs processing in delivery country). 

There is a flat rate of $12.95 for all International orders. 

For a total fee of AUD $25.00 we also provide International Express Courier Service through Inter Parcel that has tracking in all areas and an estimated 3-5 business day delivery. 

Please be sure to double check your day time address and contact details before confirming your order. For orders placed through EMS signature is not required and Shakuhachi does not take responsibility for items delivered to the correct delivery address. For express shipping recipients must sign upon delivery. Once signed Shakuhachi does not take responsibility for missing orders.

We do not offer shipping to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses at this time. Please do not put a PO box as your shipping address. 



Upon shipment, you will receive a shipment confirmation email with your tracking number and details. For domestic orders via Australian Post you can log on here to track your package. For three hour courier deliveries you can track your parcel via Inter Parcel here


For standard International delivery you will be able to track your parcel via your countries EMS postal service website once it clears customs. Please note, this may take up to thirty business days. If you chose our International Express Courier Service you are able to track your parcel through Inter Parcel here
