PURCHASING INFORMATION

 

These terms and conditions apply to the sale of all products that we sell on our site. By ordering any products on this site you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions so please read carefully. If you refuse to accept them then you should not order any products from this site. Please print a copy for future reference.

*Prices online are as listed and may differ to in store pricing during SALE.
SALE prices in store will only be available in store and CAN NOT be price matched with online product.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

 

Products available for purchase online are subject to availability. As necessary we reserve the right to limit the quantity of products we supply, supply only part of an order or to divide orders. We also reserve the right to alter the terms or duration of any special offers or sale promotion. We will inform you if we are unable to fulfill your order.

Please note the following product availability descriptions:

READY TO WEAR

Products that are currently in stock and available for order now

PRE ORDER

Products that will be available in the future and will need 2 – 3 weeks to ship, but can be booked in advance.

Often a limited product, and although we often encourage you to secure them, we also ask that you commit and are certain of your pre order. We do not take cancellations on pre orders.

OUT OF STOCK

When item does not show specific sizes or only a few sizes, then the sizes not shown are unavailable for ordering and might not be reproduced in the future. You can check our PRE-ORDER page to book future stock, if and when available, or email our customer service here.

**In the case of inaccurate availability messages and the item being out of stock, you will be notified and your order cancelled, or a credit note awarded to you should you so choose.

 

PRICING AND PAYMENT

 

Prices displayed on the site are stated in AUS$ and include shipping, GST and any other applicable Australian taxes. We accept the following forms of payment:

ORDER FULFILLMENT

 

Orders are processed the following business day, Monday to Friday, excluding holidays. Orders placed on weekends and holidays will be processed the next business day subject to availability.

If you have ordered an item that is not available or that is delayed, we will notify you via email or telephone. You will receive a shipment confirmation email with the shipping tracking number.

For any and all RETURNS, REFUNDS, CREDIT NOTES or EXCHANGES, please take care to follow the below requirements:

After 30 days, all sales are final. Sales are also final on pre orders, markdowns, orders by phone, special orders, shoes, and jewellery.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT ALL RETURNS NEED APPROVAL FROM SHAKUHACHI ONLINE AND THERE ARE NO RETURNS/EXCHANGES ON SALE ITEMS, SWIMWEAR, AND UNDERWEAR

UNAPPROVED ITEMS RETURNED WITHOUT PRIOR NOTIFICATION ARE NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF SHAKUHACHI ONLINE

CREDIT NOTES are awarded after the return item has been received by shakuhachi, and is valid for a period of 6 months after issue date. Please keep any and all email references regarding credit notes.

RETURNS Unsatisfactory merchandise in sellable condition with all original tags attached may be exchanged or returned for a credit note only.(*SWIMWEAR and ACCESSORIES can not be RETURNED unless there is a production fault)


REFUNDS Any and all faulty items (i.e. with unintentional holes, running dye, torn hem, etc.) bought online through our site and are not the result of customer mistreatment are refundable. Please send us an email with proof of purchase.


EXCHANGES

In the event that item does not meet customer size requirement it may be returned and exchanged with the same item but in a different size.

If item does not have the exchangeable size in stock then a credit note will be issued.

Please keep proof of transaction (i.e. invoice, etc.) and notify our customer service within 30 days of receiving item. Tags must be intact.

No reimbursement on postage costs for returned items unless the item is faulty.

If you live within AUSTRALIA and would like to return a faulty item please send us an email and we will send you Pre Paid Express Post Satchel for returning your item.

If you live OUTSIDE AUSTRALIA please email us and we will arrange the return or exchange.

**Refunds on faulty items bought through sites or stores other than Shakuhachi are the sole responsibility of the company selling the item and are not the responsibility of Shakuhachi.  

 

SHIPPING

SHIPPING IS FREE

 

AUSTRALIA

Orders within Australia received by 12 pm EST are delivered by Express Post (Australia Post) and will arrive the next business day* (subject to availability and delivery schedules from Australia Post).

We offer free 3 hr shipping within the Sydney Metropolitan Area if ordered before 12 pm EST during business days.

Pre-orders are made to order and so they are final and are delivered as soon as they are produced. The date of delivery is on the product page.

All orders are very well packed and you will receive an email with full tracking details once shipped.

* Australian capital, metropolitan & major regional areas apply. Delivery can take up to 7 business days for remote districts & post codes of 6005 and above (East Coast Operations). At peak times there can be delivery delays and our Customer Care will keep you up to date. We do not operate on public holidays or outside of business days.  


INTERNATIONAL

Orders received by 12 pm EST are delivered by Australia Post Postal Service or EMS and will arrive within 15 - 30 business days (depending on customs processing in delivery country). For an additional fee we also provide International Courier Service through TNT that has tracking in all areas and a 5 - 10 business day delivery.

Please be sure to forward your daytime address and contact details for delivery (Recipients must sign upon delivery).

All orders are very well packed and you will receive an email with full tracking details once shipped.

**We do not offer shipping to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses at this time. Please do not put a PO box as your shipping address.We do not operate on public holidays or outside of business days. 

 

TRACKING

Upon shipment, you will receive a shipment confirmation email with your tracking number. For domestic orders (within Australia), you can log on to here to track your package.

For EMS international orders (outside Australia), you can log on to your countries EMS postal service website, and if you chose our International Courier Service through TNT you can track it here. Please be sure to indicate your daytime address for delivery purposes.

Your privacy on the Internet is of the utmost importance to us. shakuhachi respects your right to privacy. Accordingly, we do not share or sell your information to any third parties. Any and all information collected by shakuhachi online is used solely for the purpose of processing your order.
